Ok so fake lashes. I personally LOVE them. I love the instant drama they create. The instant glam. A throw back Edie Sedgewick look is easy to create, as is just putting on a pair for a fancy dinner. Once you get the hang of the application, it literally takes 2 minutes to apply. I am a personal fan of dark dramatic eyeshadow to be paired with them so that there is really no trace of visibility on the lash line. While you want people to notice your dramatic eye, you don’t really want people to say “oh hey, um your eyelash is falling off”. That is a little uncomfortable. However, I have had friends be on “eyelash watch” on special occasions. After using white eyelash glue for some time, and frantically working to hide the white lines or excess that was naturally created after application I needed to find a new glue. So needless to say, I was pumped when I discovered Duo Eyelash Adhesive in gray. Ecstatic. Side note, my favorite fake lashes are Sephora brand, that are usually around 8 dollars and last FOREVER, or Ardell brand lashes found in any major drugstore, usually under $4 dollars. I also like and use Andrea Modlash, which are around $4 dollars as well.
The Duo Eyelash Adhesive in gray, is around $6 dollars at any drugstore and applies smooth and creamy. It is not overly sticky, wipes clean if you need to reapply, and lasts a LONG time without clumping or drying. Duo also makes the same adhesive in clear. I have yet to try that though because I am unsure of how it looks when it dries. The Duo Lash Adhesive in gray is GREAT, and I seriously don’t think I would even try another brand of adhesive as I am very pleased with this one.
