I’m not always on point with my sunscreen application on a regular basis, terrible I know, and I have been working on it. When I saw that Influenster had included a Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sunscreen in the 2012 Summer Beauty VoxBox, I was quick to remember to apply. And apply NOT only at the beach. The Silk Hydration is smooth, non-greasy and lasts for 12 hours. The luxurious feeling of the hydration ribbons makes it feel like you are applying skin conditioning lotion rather than slapping on white, thick chemical paste, like I often feel with some sunscreens. The smell of this Hawaiian Tropic is beach, clean and smells more like fresh cocoa butter than a pina colada that’s been left in the sun all day. Again, something I associate with some sunscreens. I took this picture on the beach at my cottage in Vermilion and as silly as it may sound, it’s one of my favorite pictures of the summer because it SCREAMS summer. It’s now august people, get out there and enjoy what’s left of it!!
This Hawaiian Tropic product and all others, are available at major retailers nationwide for around $8.99 a bottle. For more information check out http://www.hawaiiantropic.com
