Thoughts on a Thursday
I decided that I blog like I workout. I do awesome for a week or so, miss a day, then stop for a week. Need to change both of those habits. In any case, this week has been a blur, which is great because last week was forever. This week has me thinking about a lot of stuff. And has made me thankful for even more. Every year my family adopts a family from the Berea Welfare program. Looking at list is upsetting, but it makes me feel good knowing that we all do all we can to help these people. It also majorly puts things into perspective. I’m happy we do this. Also, this week, I hung out with a dear old friend I have not seen in almost three years. We picked right back up where we left off, laughed for hours, and had a most tearful goodbye. Again though, things were put in perspective for me. A link to my past, she will always be in my life, but times have changed. There is no denying that, nor should there be any denying it. Times have just changed, people move on, grow up, and some remain EXACTLY the same. And there’s nothing you can do about it. But it made me thankful for the people who are constants in my life. No matter how crazy we all may be. ![]()
have a great end of the week everyone. xoxoxo
